Final Exam

The Fall 2011 Final exam will examine the question of what attracts and "unattracts" one person to another person. The final essay should be about 500 words and contain at least 3 sources. You may use one source of your own (if you choose), but the rest of the sources must come from the list below.

PROMPT: Beauty is said to be in the eye of the beholder, and yet many people find the same people, things, criteria to be attractive. What is it exactly that makes one person attractive to another person?

"The (Girl) Geek Stands Alone" by Sarah Seltzer pg. 562
"Latino Style is Cool. Oh, All Right: It's Hot" pg. 568
"America's War on the Overweight" pg. 575
